With the final clicking of the clock, the corporate world slipped far from sight for the magic of the unseen world. And with it came the name I kept. For “Lady Wordsmith” cared more about the rhythm—rhyme, and less about the bottom line.

Now retired in my hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, my days are spent writing romance novels shaped from memories of my life. My debut novel, My Scarlet S, builds a new and imaginary world—one drawn from echoes of the past and the quiet ache for true romance.

And from that world comes the birthplace of Darwin’s Mistress—a place where stories grow and find a home.
